So my younger brother, Charlie, transfered from the laid back lifestyle of Hawaii Pacific University to the fast paced world of New York University. You know what that means!? Family trip to New York! [cue New York song by Frank Sinatra] Man o Man, I tell you, freakin' Nue Yorq. Pretty much everything I ever heard about it is true: 1) It's a Concrete Jungle (buildings and buildings every where!). 2)Rats! (We had a nice breakfast experience where, after seeing a rat scurry across the floor, my Mom, shrieked and jumped up on her chair to avoid the rat...it was quite a sight) 3)Fast and impatient. (They want everything now...but sometimes they want it 5min ago) 4)Unique. (Where else can you hear 5 different languages in the span of a block!?)
Overall, I like New York, it's kinda cool how it's a big Island just full of buildings and neighborhoods. But, Chicago is still cooler.
